This is a bit of a pre-covid flashback for me. Had a great time playing acoustic music for a packed house at the beautiful Resorts World in Monticello, NY. So much has changed and yet so much has stayed the same. I’ve been blessed.
Unfortunately my residency at Dylans in Forest Hills has come to an unexpected end. Here is a clip of me performing an Ed Sheeran cover with the band… I wish all my friends at Dylans the best. Hope to see you at a future performance :):)
I have always loved Paul Simon. Maybe its a Queens thing. I always loved the song “Bridge Over Troubled Water”. Definitely one of my favorite songs of all time. I never thought it was the kind of song that I could sing or do any kind of justice to. Sooo.. I decided to come down into my studio as an experiment. I wanted to see how I would approach it hypothetically speaking. Armed with nothing more than my guitars, amps and mics I wound up with this cover version. I decided to put together a little vid for it. I hope you enjoy… please share the youtube link with all of your friends and subscribe to my channel as well!
Got to kick the night off with my original tunes to a packed house last night at Riverside Theater for my friends at Taplife.
So I am finishing another successful show at JetBlue’s Terminal 5 when one of the execs invites me down to the office and hands me this!!! Supercool!!
So thankful to everyone who came down to enjoy some food, original music and good times here at “Cafe Persico” for the holiday show. So nice to play for you all. Make sure you join my mailing list so you too can attend the next event here or maybe even host a Cafe Persico event for your friends!
